Policies
- There may be additional fees if policies are not followed
- Do not put more than 8 tons in your dumpster. It is typical for a full construction and demolition dumpster to hold around 3.5 tons. Adding heaving things such as concrete, tile, large metal objects, or rock increase the weight quickly. Overloading may incur fines per DOT (and may damage our equipment). If a dumpster contains more than 8 tons, it may incur added billable costs. Typical overage fees are $100/ton.
- In most cases, your dumpster needs to be set on a flat hard surface.
- Make sure your dumpster is able to be removed by our truck. If you call for your dumpster to be removed, but it is not able to be accessed by our truck, there may be added costs incurred. Potential reasons include (a) excessive debris piled or mounded above the roll-off (b) weight in excess of 8 tons (c) dumpster moved to an inaccessible location.
- These rates are based on locations no more than 15 miles outside of city limits. A small rural rate mileage charge may be applied if your location is outside of this zone.
- Garbage falls into different categories at the landfill or recovery center. The most common types are Construction/Demolition and normal residential garbage (Also known as MSW - this is the normal trash produced by residential customer. This most likely includes the excess materials or trash in your basement or garage. Items such as tires, yard waste, appliances, chemicals, wet paints, and mattresses, may incur added costs per the landfill. Added fees are relatively small, unless you are producing a lot. If you have questions about the specific rates that may apply to you, please email or call.
- Residential customers will be required to pay the $275 fee upon delivery of the dumpster. Tonnage price will be billed after the contents of the dumpster are emptied.
- Recycling is typically done at no added cost to the customer. However, each kind of material must be in its own separate dumpster. For a specific list, please email or call.
