Policies

The Spirit of our policies.  We want you to be happy with our service and pricing, and for our trucks to be efficient in their work.  This allows Green Eagle Waste to provide reliable and quick container service (24 hours or less), and keep your costs to a minimum.  The best way for this to happen is by protecting the dumpster from over-filling and by allowing good access for our trucks to pick them up and set them down.

1.  Dumpsters should ideally be placed on hard surfaces of either rock or concrete, with a minimum of 40’ clear driving room in front of the dumpster location.  IF no hard surface is available, please notify a Green Eagle Waste Solutions when the dumpster is requested.

2.   Dumpsters must not be loaded with more than 10 tons of material, except with prior permission from a Green Eagle Waste Solutions Manager.  Typical full dumpsters hold 2.5-5 tons.  Heavy material such as rock, masonry, and plaster add weight quickly.

2.  Material must not be loaded higher than the top edge of the dumpster.  Mounding or overflowing material is not acceptable and may incur additional charges.

3.  Loads containing certain items (such as appliances, liquids, yard waste, tires, chemicals, asbestos, etc.) will incur additional landfill fees.  These fees are subject to change.

4.  Customers who have loads likely to contain asbestos must notify a Green Eagle Waste Solutions manager so that the materials are handled properly at the landfill.  Asbestos loads typically require a letter of abatement and incur other special waste fees.

5.  If a dumpster is requested to be emptied but is not removeable once the truck arrives, a trip fee may be charged.  Reasons for not removing a dumpster may include but are not limited to (a) excessive debris piled or mounded above the top of the roll-off; (b) weight in excess of 10 tons; (c) dumpster moved to an inaccessible location without permission; (d.) debris or equipment blocking the front of the dumpster.

6.  Inactive Dumpsters.  A dumpster must be emptied a minimum of every 30 days.  Inactive dumpsters may be charged a monthly fee.

7.  Site Damage.  Green Eagle Waste Solutions is not responsible for any ground or landscaping damage when delivering, dumping, or removing the containers.  This includes but is not limited to concrete drives, curbs, sidewalks, tree limbs, or bushes.  If it rains, containers are not leak proof. Green Eagle Waste Solutions is not responsible for any rust or discoloration left in the area of the container.  Driveway protection may be added as an additional service per request, but is not guaranteed to eliminate all potential damage.

8.  Relocation.  A relocation fee may apply if a dumpster requires a special trip to be moved without dumping.

9.  Winter loads.  At times, material may be frozen to the bottom of the box.  Scraping at the landfill incurs additional charges.  When box scraping is unavailable, some material may remain in the bottom of the container.  We will make good faith attempts to remove all material, but we can offer no guarantees of a perfectly empty box.

10.  Not abiding by Green Eagle Waste Solutions policies may incur additional fees.  For additional information, please contact a Green Eagle Waste Solutions manager.
